  • Work with the Head of Engineering, leading your team and collaborating with colleagues to improve and maintain the Visable platform
  • Provide strong leadership to a multi-disciplinary team in attaining its objectives and goals while fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learnings within your team and extend these practices across the entire organization
  • Offer constructive feedback to support your team's development, while promoting skill development and career growth

Profile
  • Have at least 5 years of hands-on engineering experience (frontend, backend, or fullstack) in languages like Ruby, JavaScript, Kotlin, or Java
  • Have at least 1 year of experience managing or leading engineering teams
  • Strive to excel both technically and as a people manager
  • Maintain high standards, focusing on quality, reliability, and availability
  • Make thoughtful trade-offs between short-term business needs and long-term technical quality
  • Have strong communication and social skills and the ability to work well within a team and with other stakeholders
  • Drive initiatives from identifying problems to deploying solutions
  • Have experience using relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and non-relational databases (Redis, MongoDB)
  • Fluent in English

  • Nice to Have
    Have expertise in AWS technologies
  • Have expertise in Infrastructure as Code
